Organic Goji Harvest is Underway!
Its goji season! The organic goji berry harvest is now in full swing, with this year’s crop ripe, red, and bursting with juicy flavour. The harvest typically runs from July through September with some remote regions continuing into October.
Growing conditions in the organic production areas have improved compared to last season. Yields are on par with last year, so pricing is expected to remain steady.
Our goji berries are cultivated in the pristine, remote region of Qinghai—over 1.000 km from China’s main agricultural hubs. The berries are handpicked, carefully washed and dried using a combination of natural sun-drying and controlled oven techniques. This helps preserve their rich colour and powerful nutritional content.
After drying, the berries undergo multiple rigorous processing steps: Metal detection and electrostatic hair removal to eliminate small particles and debris, microbiological “kill-steps” including sterilisation, additional drying, treatment in an ozone chamber to remove oxygen-breathing organisms, and then followed by x-ray screening to detect and remove non-metallic contaminants like ceramics, glass, and plastic, and finally manual sorting and a second final metal detection of the packaged gojis.
These stringent quality control measures ensure our goji berries are clean, safe, and ready for human consumption.

Fresh from the Spring Harvest – Organic Wheatgrass Powder

The grasses are harvested at their nutritional peak, then cut, washed, blanched, dried, pulverised, sterilised, sieved, and carefully packaged to preserve their quality and potency.
